Men's Highlights

U20 Chris Kirk won the senior men's Long Jump title with 7.10m, as well winning the U20 High Jump with 1.95m. James Davies came 2nd in both the 200m and 400m with season's bests of 48.9s and 22.2s. Mark Linsday won the U20 Javelin with 53.25m. In the U17 Nathan Elliot won the 1500m in 4m 17.2s, after recording a PB in the 800m the previous day, and Stephen Brennan took silver in the Pole Vault. Richard Johnson won the U15 boys Long Jump with 5.20m, and Craig Simpson was the only winner in the U13s with 13.2s in the 100m.

Women's Highlights

As we've now come to expect from the women's team, the club had a fantastic haul of medals. Kerry Jury led the way with 2 golds and 1 silver in the Seniors, and Sue Backhouse won the award for best field performance with her Discus winning throw of 43.78m. Rosie Hackney won 2 U13 golds and equalled the club record in the 80m, and multi-talented Naida Bromley won 2 golds and a bronze in the U17s.
